Being Trained to Make Money in Real Estate

When was the last time a trainer told you they’d teach you how to make more money?
Instead, they say they’ll train you to close deals, overcome objections, or perfect your scripts… but does that really translate to growing your income?
The truth is many trainers I’ve met have never been agents themselves.
Some aren’t training to help you succeed. They’re training to recruit you into their pyramid or sell you a course.
Red flags to watch for:
“Free” training that turns into a high-pressure sales pitch.
A false sense of urgency to buy their program at a “limited-time” discount.
What to look for in a great trainer:
Someone with real, successful real estate experience.
Someone who welcomes questions.
Someone who genuinely cares about your success beyond the session.
Someone who tells you uncomfortable truths like how to handle rejection.
The best training isn’t about flashy tactics—it’s about building a profitable, sustainable real estate business.
I would love to hear your thoughts. Have you ever attended a training that felt more like a sales pitch?
